Mexican Hot Chocolate

Treat yourself to this warm, tasty beverage. Once you've tried it, I don't think you would ever go back to traditional hot chocolate.  We buy the Abuelita brand made by Nestle. You will find it in the Hispanic/Ethnic aisle in the grocery store or at your local carniceria.  Currently, Stater Brothers is running a special at $2.50 a box.  What makes this better than any cup of cocoa I've ever had is the cinnamon infused dark chocolate tablets.  The tablets are usually hexagonal and can be split into wedges.  Our family of 7 uses 2 tablets, 2 cans of evaporated milk and about 8 cups of water.   My suggestion is to use canned evaporated milk for a richer, creamier flavor and to add sugar or sweetener to your liking. Enjoy!
